The objective here is to specify the exact dock components and hardware to assure a quality dock construction project, as well as prepare a competitive bid package to obtain fair pricing from various dock and marine contractors. Whether you are looking for small residential floating dock construction or large marina construction, Coastline Consulting, LLC will detail and specify all floating dock and fixed pier components including timber, galvanized marine hardware, electrical, plumbing, aluminum ramps, and floatation sections. The prepared package will then be forwarded to our large network of dock contractors, marine contractors, and pile driving contractors to solicit pricing on your behalf.

Dock Construction Management
When you have invested so much in the dock of your dreams, you want to make sure it is done right. Many of our clients request that a Marine Engineer, Marine Consultant or Project Manager from Coastline Consulting, LLC be onsite to supervise and oversee the dock construction phase. With this service, our clients can have a comfort level that the dock construction phase is being completed as required by the dock contractor or marine contractor. Think of the Coastline Consulting, LLC Project Manager as your quality control. When onsite, the Project Manager will inspect the dock construction project from the penetration depth of pile driving activities down to the galvanized coating on each bolt.

Dock Inspection & As-Built Surveys
Upon completion of your dock construction project, Coastline Consulting, LLC will walk the project site with your dock contractor or marine contractor. We will assure the dock construction has been done in compliance with the conditions of your regulatory dock permits, matches the dock design, and follows good engineering practices. Upon completion of the dock construction, Coastline Consulting, LLC can also conduct an as-built survey of the completed dock project to meet the requirements of the regulatory permits.
